Day 2 [Trip to Ohio]
So we left Cedar City, Utah at 11am ish, and headed towards Colorado. We stopped at a Wendy's to eat since we were all fairly hungry due to there not being anything to eat in the RV and nothing was open when we arrived in Utah. Made one stop and took some pictures on the edge of a cliff overlooking a valley, it was spiffy. Saw a bunch of Navajo jewelry and pottery as well. My DS died and my ipod almost did, we just arrived in Grand Junction, Colorado and now we are trying to figure out dinner plans.
And a major hitch in the plans trip, the axels on the RV are bent so we have to take our time and will be making a 1-2 day stop in Indiana to have them repaired, so we will be driving on my birthday and won't be in Ohio until the middle of next week or so. Good thing is I'll have plenty of opportunities to take some pictures of old buildings, landscape, and maybe even some old school gothic cemeteries =]!!
UPDATE for this day: We went to a buffet for dinner, and then Walmart for shampoo & conditioner etc since my mom forgot some, and had some very curious and disturbing events happen, it was weird, and totally unexpected but I got grabbed by some drunk guy one aisle away from my parents, he kept saying goddamn your fine and staring at me, I yelled for my mom and all was dealt with, Cory got really concerned when I told him, which I suppose is understandable, just as much as I worry about his well being he probably worries more about mine, esp. since he's obsessed with true crime books, got back to the RV and attempted to sleep, woke up at 3am from a nightmare and texted Cory for reassurance of his safety. Ended up sitting outside until 4am talking to him about everything going through our heads... god damn I miss my boyfriend, and cannot wait to be in his arms again...
