Technology, why do you suck so much?
It's official. I'm lethal to all things electric. In the past year I have killed my old computer, my mom's iPhone, my iPod, my old TV and this morning my laptop died.
Like, actually died in a huge mess of flickering lights and scary sounds...stupid drama queen *kicks dead laptop* None of my computer savvy friends can tell me what I did to that thing but they assure me (after making about five hundred 'have you tried turning it off and on again?' jokes) it's probably my fault and definitely beyond fixing. Also, warranty ran out two weeks ago *sarcastic yay*
On the bright side, I got a crazy hunch yesterday and sent all my unfinished fic to my school laptop (mostly because I'm not planning on paying attention during next week's Practical Communication Theory lectures) so yeah, I lost some music and some pictures, but unless I manage to kill this laptop as well, my 4 unfinished/unposted angst_bingo fills and my bigbang are alive and well.
Speaking of my BB, I just passed 10K for the third time and I think I like this version. *heartfelt yay* Poor, broken Dean being all pretty and broken...
Now all I need to do is talk myself into posting my Hostages fill.
