Heh, mostly I just get bored and write until I'm not bored anymore (i.e. my Statistics professor has left the room)

But with this one I had the idea in my head for over a week and your wish was just the push I needed to force it into shape.

I dunno why, but this was one of the fics that almost hurt to write because everything felt wrong and stupid and OOC, so I'm totally psyched you liked it!

Okay. Back now, though I haven't had any coffee yet so lord help us all.

I LOVE how Dean is completely, morbidly vulnerable here. He's always just thatclose to snapping and wailing how he can't taaaake it anymore in canon - here, you snapped him utterly. AND THEN ELLEN PICKED UP THE PIECES. *melts* It's too perfect. Someone needs to be there for that poor boy and bear some of the load, or even just understand some of the load, but his load is just so big and he's got this whole macho-possessive "my load, back off" thing - and Ellen is big enough and macho enough and maternal enough to smack his hands and say, "Share, boy. You gonna argue?"

I lovelovelove Ellen. I love how she almost wants to smack him too, because he is wallowing stupidly, but refrains because she's bigger than that. Almost. She does slap him, but tenderly, with affection. A total message that, "You're being stupid and I don't like what you're implying about me, but I wubs you anyway, dork."

I love how Sam wants to get it, because he's a sensitive guy,

Heh, that's exactly why Ellen just WORKS as Dean's therapist/almost-mommy. She's no-nonsense enough to not push any of his MARY buttons. He gravitates towards her and she doesn't threaten that perfect madonna image of Mary he built up which makes her all but perfect...

You got a thing for Dean being called a whore? We should start a club *nods head in my hooker!Dean fic's direction*

I've had this thing working around in my head ever since reading some comment by Jared or Jensen (probably Jensen) about the epic love story of Sam and Dean ending being Butch/Sundance or Thelma/Louise. I want a happy ending; I'm a sucker like that. So I've been trying to figure out how on earth these two get a happy ending in the midst of all their crap. There was a wish on the spn_rambleon about Adult!Ben that sort of tickled my happyendingthing. No idea if it's gonna work. We shall see. I'm claiming it fills "group support" on my hc_bingo because you are correct: multifills FTW.
