Maybe she’s wrong. Maybe there is alien life capable of reaching Earth. This man who speaks with his eyebrows seems to think so, the way he talks about other planets as though he’d been there on holiday. The Brigadier seems to agree with him, too. Liz never thought she’d meet a military man who was able to believe in such outlandish nonsense, yet... somehow, when this stranger in a cape tells her of time and space, she knows what he says is true. He’s not human, not from this planet, she believes that. This man, this ‘Doctor’, is something else.
