[REVIEW] the GazettE's DIVISION New PV Preview
Ibitsu and DERANGEMENT PV Preview of the GazettE
Some days ago, previews of the new album 2 PVs came out. I just knew it a day later. But that's okay. I just failed a day ^^. The coming of these 2 previews just adding the anticipation of many fans, I guess, including ME XD. The music is cool!! Both of them! Maybe I'm too biased toward them, but I can't say that although their music changed time to time, it never failed to mesmerize me! I love both songs already! DERANGEMENT reminds me of THE SUICIDE CIRCUS. I think it is because the 'KI-KI-KI'(?) sounds in the end of the preview. Overall, I can't wait to hear the other songs!
And about the preview of the video itself, though I really am excited about DERANGEMENT, in contrary, I really am disappointed with Ibitsu. The song itself is cool. But I don't like the concept of the PV that is like 'having no concept at all'. Just them playing in a monotone background. You know, I really love how the GazettE had such beautiful PV with stories or interesting background. I am always proud of them for always having such interesting PV, not like other VK bands (not all, but most of them). They seem awkward in that kind of set. I am used to see them in more 'colorful' set. And Ruki didnt move freely. Now I wonder if whatthe concept they want to share. Or maybe because he is gripping a mic with cable? But I still dont like it! Such a beautiful song to come with a seem-rushed-and-low-budget PV. For God's sake, they are the GazettE! How could the director make them having this kind of PV? Even Shadow VI II I, that I dont really like, is more creative than the monotone Ibitsu. Even the crappy edited PV they had for their oldest PVs was better!!! I hope it is just a preview and the complete done version is better than that. I think I have hope since the first miliseconds in the preview showing something different, something glittering fading (I love glitters), before the bad set. If not, then I just can accept the cruel fact, right? And looking at the positive way... Hey!! We can see them all along the PV!!! That is cool, right? Right...? Right! DERANGEMENT is awesome! It is just how their PV supposed to be! Mysterious scene with myterious story. I love this kind of PV. Although i still have no idea what kind of song meaning which come out along with the rather disturbing yet cool preview. Oh, okay! I just look up for what DERANGEMENT is and now the PV make more sense. (English is not my language. I just know that derangement= craziness, disorder, chaos etc). And they (especially Ruki) moved so freely to the song!!! Their movement is very different with Ibitsu. No, I dont mean it is related to their different type of songs, since Ibitsu is a bit calm(?). Ibitsu, is just bad in my eyes. (The only thing I am happy about it besides the song itself is their beauty. All of them are beautiful in Ibitsu, I am nosebleeding >_<... Just seemingly-poor PV) And Ruki in BLUE? OMG! That was new! Okay, maybe i just thinking too much, but it IS REFRESHING!!! I even didnt think that kind of BLUE will suit him! Okay, it is dark blue BUT I was shocked at first. I still think Ruki and blue is weird combination., but I am sure I will gradually get used of it and loving it more due to the coolness of the song and the PV. Some snapshots~:
Although I am a bit (lot) disappointed to Ibitsu's preview, I still anticipate the whole album! I'm excited, but I hate expecting. This previews make me expect more though. I just like to tease myself with spoiler. I'm such a masochist, I know. But I won't expect the other songs to be this or that kind of songs. I'll be waiting and accepting what they are giving, patiently. Whether I'll like this song or that song or not, it will be decided the moment I learn the songs. I already love these two songs though :D
