So, the theme for showstoppers this year is "decades of the 20th century". AND we are only allowed to do POP songs... there are no showtunes allowed any more. Apparently they are boring? or something? BUT, mr. ragsdale pulled me aside and said he MIGHT dedicate a section of SS to 20's broadway. ??? that doesn't help me at all, none of the broadway songs i wanted to do were from the 20's. So, i have to come up with new songs. I was really excited about the songs i had picked, but none of them really fit anymore with the theme, and therefore, they won't get picked.
