Okay, I promised that I would keep my journal updated daily. Well, as you can tell, it hasn't been for nearly 2 weeks now. My deepest apologies. Recently, I spent some time with a grieving friend. She had lost someone very dear to her and the details are not up to me to discuss so please don't bother asking.
Where was I in my notes? I don't expect anyone to give an answer to that question. Oh right!! I was talking about the effects of music. I've been listening to a lot of Frontline Assembly lately. I absolutely think this band rocks on so many levels! I hear a little of Utah Saints as the influence and a little of Skinny Puppy, which I happen to love despite that they're so dark, and I hear some Crystal Method in there too. Now I haven't looked into the discography of this band and now that I'm thinking about it, I think I shall just to see if I'm correct on the influences.
Okay, after looking it up, there is a little bit but not a lot. This
site should help out in understanding the group a little better.
There was an interesting question brought up by
nyami_rose1 recently about 2012. Are we really ready for our final hours, if it were final and known that we're going to parish?
Are we really certain that we're ready when the time comes if we were to die? Are we going to see the change of our old Earth transform into a new one? Is it a philosophical change instead of a physical one? Will be cross dimensions? Are we flitting on the skirt hems of angels this moment and within a flash, we'll be gone the next?
People have been going on about the end of the world for millennium. Is this another "cry wolf" tactic brought on by the church to bring in more believers and convert pagans? The Bible is written for reader's interpretation of what they firmly believed that God said. We all want a common belief that we're right and the rest of the world is wrong. We are our own prophets. We all want to believe that our answers are the right ones. Honestly, we don't know.
As much as scientists have proven that the Mariana Trench has shown us that a polar shift is on the horizon, we still blame pollution as the major factor for the depletion of the ozone layer. I think it accelerated it, but it's not the main cause. The Earth is a self-sustaining and self cleaning ball of elements that work together to keep her delicate atmosphere in balance.
Now, if I remember correctly, dinosaurs lived on this planet for millions of years before man came into the picture an began to build cars. Now, taking that we know about carbon monoxide and green house gasses, wouldn't the Earth been a dust ball and doomed to oblivion from all that dino poo? Nope, she's still here.
Now, let's take a look at the bigger picture instead of pointing fingers at one creature, the cow for example, or blaming industrialization mostly, coal burning plants for another example. If a polar shift were to occur within the next two years, we're looking at a huge shift in balance in a short amount of time. Why does the Earth do this? To keep her delicate veil on, of course. She has to keep her clothes on. The Mariana Trench is proof that such an event may occur soon. It may be in two years, it may be in 10. The trench pushed out 2 feet of magma per year before the plate folds and recycles itself for the next fold to take place. It's very ingenious.
