Grabbing on to a dream....

Rehearsals have been rather stressful as of late. It's not that I don't enjoy them, I don't enjoy the muck of back talk and serious flaws. Thus far, we've had three drops. Those drops seriously put a strain on those of us that remain. We started off with 8 and now we are down to 5. The DJ is working with us and he's taking on a double role as both ( Read more... )

XD No problem! I'm actually fascinated by it actually. Being a Theater major with a heavy background in Sociology I am by no means offended. I welcome it actually. Rants don't bother me in the least. If you had seen my previous entries before the Tarot Cards, you can definitely see that I rant as well. XD I'm pretty easy going.

Being that you are a Visual Kei artist, I'm sure that you get your share of skepticism. That's the beauty of theater. Being able to voice and do things that normal society would not allow. Being open and free with the inner muse despite public view which is why Marilyn Manson has received the fame that he has. Take a look at Slipknot. They went with the same principle. They are performers. Performers that dared to cross where others stayed in a comfort zone.

Role playing is a wonderful outlet and it allows me to embrace my characters a little better. It also allows me to come up with new material for improvisation which I couldn't do in a real life setting. It keeps the humor sharp. There are times that I take a little with me from other characters and add it to my own. Of course, I give credit where credit is due at the end of the show.

I used to be on Bebo and that fell like a rock. The humor was lost, the interactions were sporadic at best and most times I had invites to places where I could care less. I've never met a better bunch as I had on LJ.

Like any character, eventually I will venture into the dark side with at least one of them.
