I have made myself a 'grounding bag'. In it are some things I was carrying anyway, in my handbag. It is for when I'm feeling dissociative, feel it coming on. In it are:
- silk ribbon
- tweezers
- a heart shaped stone with the word Peace on it
- strawberry chewing gum
- bukhur (Arabic incense)
- hand cream
- a single decade rosary
- a fan
Also, the bag itself is visual and tactile.
