Oh, and the other thing that came up that I need to pick apart at some stage is if I'm a controlling partner or not. The girls were talking about how they had been in relationships where they were controlled, downtrodden, unappreciated, and generally needed to walk on eggshells. And it was like they were describing all the things that Peter says or does. Even to the point of saying, "yes, but it was fine, it was what I wanted... until we split up and I realised that it was borderline abusive".
