I have never trusted my own tendency to whistle while incapacitated
Kingdom of Loathing folks (all two of you I know to be on my friendslist, one of whom I've told this already): I have a Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot! Aside from semi-rares I'm not sure how it is that I figured how to raise my meat intake, but something must have been working.
And damn, the NPZR is good, too. I don't normally use combat familiars (for my past several runs I've been using gravy fairies almost exclusively, minus tower familiars and the leprechaun for Our Lady of Perpetual Indecision), but the NPZR is hardcore good. I have about ten more pounds before it maxes out its weight and it's already doing things like restoring 40-45 HP and MP, and spending sometimes multiple combat rounds giving me more meat than the monster actually awards me at the end of combat (and we're not talking crappy mobs, this was over the course of the level 12 quest).
Also it makes toast.
On a completely unrelated note, I offer my congratulations and good wishes to a certain two people who know who they are.
