A model knitter for xmas

Dec 01, 2007 05:01

I just got back from a two-week holiday on Wed., and at work Thu. there was a v. fun request to contribute to the agency xmas card concept. The idea for the image is that we're all spending a cosy xmas together in a big house somewhere (try not to think of how dreary it would actually be to spend xmas only with your cow-orkers). The twist is that it's going to be created wholly from Plasticene (like Play-doh).

We were each given a big rainbow pack of plasticene and asked to make a little model of ourselves showing what we'd be doing in the agency xmas house. Well, what fun! A lot of people did theirs at work, but I took mine home to fret over, b/c my sculpting skills are at kindergarten level and I didn't want anyone looking over my shoulder. I briefly considered waiting for Dan to get back from NY and outsourcing my project to him, but decided to go ahead and play. And I think the result is true to life, if a little smooshy!
