lovepop and i went to the anna sui show last night. my first fashion show! there was a lot of waiting, and people watching. and then the show was over pretty quickly. i liked the music a lot, except before the show, some of the songs were on repeat...which seems kinda lame. during the show the music was very loud, and it seems strange that you're just supposed to sit there and stare at these strange model mannequin beasts and somehow resist the urge to rock out. i wanna find out what the song was right before the raincoats 'fairytale in the supermarket', how can i find out?
the clothes were good, but nothing very suprising, but in a good way... i like anna sui, i like crazy prints and her mod-hippie rock and roll vibe.
the whole experience definitely demystified fashion quite a bit. it really is just clothing.
