I know, I know, I don't update enough
So I've been sick recently. Had a case of the nasties that's been going around. Did my usual thing so I'm almost all better now but it threw me for a good one O.o
I don't update a whole bunch but I guess I never REALLY did. I like my friends here. Mostly I just meet people that are already Laurens friends when they come to the apartment and let my charm wit and good looks win them over. =P Ok so that's a joke, but we have a gaming groups and I'm friends with those people. I have my ppls too but we're all so busy with our own lives we like almost never see each other.
A few days back Ryan msged me but I was wandered off somewhere so I didn't respond. She left me an "angry" comment for ignoring her. Hopefully she was joking but sometimes its hard to tell.
I miss Amy and Kelly bunches. Though they are both so busy with school right now we'd never get to hang out even if I were closer.
I got to see Amy a while back when I had to come to town on a court case and that was GREAT. Also while there I found out a good friend is mad at me to the point of not talking to me. That's less great. I always thought that that sort of thing wasn't real. Just something for the sad stories that I read. It's been a blow to find out that these things really happen. She's a good friend and I never thought... I don't know what I thought. It's partly my fault of course. She helped me out a bunch but at the end we said some things that didn't need to be said...
Its finally Spring here. Its been so cold but we are in the mountains. Most of the 'born here' locals would laugh at me if they heard me say that. We're REALLY in the vally you see. In the last few days it's started to get warmer. The cherry trees are all blossoming, and it really is quite lovely outside. Just as I was writing this a thunder storm came through. The storm came so fast, with bursts of lightening so bright and frequent that the lamps out side turned off. The rain came down in sheets, soaking everything. Then it just all stopped.
Money is still tight, and being sick hasn't helped recently. I keep hoping that my break will come soon. If I can keep working hard then I'm sure something good will happen.
