Boring RL stuff--no pictures.
Birthday is coming up soon. I'll gonna be OLD. *sob* /wrists
This week my dad went to see the abuse evil grandparents and took my brother with him. It was really nice to have the house be quiet without the sounds of fighting or screaming (from my brother).
Yesterday was the last night of peace, though, so I ended up watching a couple of movies with my mom. I d/led Lady in the Water and thought that was one of the best films I'd ever seen. It was sooo pretty and such an awesome story. I don't care if it was rated the worst movie of the year or whatever, it WAS AWESOME. I think M. Night must have pissed someone off in Hollywood to have it totally blackballed, though.
After that we watched Speed Racer and The Strangers.
I could not focus on the Speed Racer movie for anything. The graphic were awesome and the style was epic, but it seemed to really flash around. I felt like both the movie and me were ADDing, and by the end I was just wanting it over.
Then we waited about an hour to watch the Strangers, and that movie was soooo short. It's like....115 minutes long. I liked it, though. People kept screaming and giggling when one of the masked people popped out of nowhere. It was funny, but I was on edge after the first big scare of the movie where the masked man appears. I think that got the most screams. LOL.
It was really nice to be able to do something with my mom, though, since we hardly even talk.
