Brief little summary on my Tokyo trip!
Teaching this past week and a half without those parent observations I've complained a lot about felt so good. I could actually have fun with my kids without pressure. However, today, I did get a surprise lesson evaluation from my performance supervisor, which I was expecting this week anyway! Everything seemed to go well overall and I know I'm still learning and have lots of room for improvement.
Last weekend, I went to a charity event for the Great Tohoku Earthquake with Josie mainly because BOYS AND MEN were a part of the performers. I had only slept about 3 hours that night so I felt terribly out of it during the event, and even snoozed a little during one of the performances... but I enjoyed it overall and I liked pretty much all the acts.
This coming weekend I'm looking forward to more events to go to!
By the way, I've felt like I've been quite fortunate with the lotteries of my fandoms lately. Since my last entry, I'm managed to win tickets for the final day of the D-BOYS Premium D-Live with guests Seto Koji and Yamada Yuki, Tenimyu's Spring Undoukai for both shows, and Shige's final show in Osaka for Naka no Hito~!! I did also apply for tickets for Tumbling FINAL and Hirata's MamaBoku2 butai but I didn't hit for those. I'm not disappointed though since those were last-minute ballots I signed up for. And, I probably wouldn't try to buy resales I think.
Trying to legitimately get my tickets at the original prices is also how I'm trying to be careful with my money. Ticketcojp owned me so much last year! XD
But, of my latest lottery applications, I'm waiting on Tenimyu's TSCPP vol 7 and Shige's BURN novel talk event. I think that's it! MAYBE I'll try for the general release of TUMBLING Final and BokuMama2 again!
That's it for now. I should really get to bed since Thursday at this school I'm teaching at this week is usually the day that makes me want to cry, haha. But, another day done will bring me closer to this weekend!!
