A Principal at the firm I work for has a passion for sustainable life. He used to teach architecture in Uganda for two years, and then traveled to neighboring Rwanda after the genocide. His passion for the people of Rwanda and their ability to recover from the genocide leads us to present day. He is currently involved with scholars, land planners, economic forecasters, social consultants, a fleet of civil engineers and several others to rebuild Rwanda.
He is now leading the efforts of the Kigali City Master Plan, Rwamagana Master Plan, Kiciyru Office Park, the conceptual Kigali International Airport, Bugesera Resort/Wildlands, Bugesera Airport Renovation, King Faisal Hospital Renovation (which was used as a safe-haven / refugee camp after the horrific genocide), and new plans in the works to help this country self-sustain. I am so blessed to be surrounded by people such as himself every day.
