The cat's pretty much out of the bag regarding your investigation into the current crisis, so better now than later. I'd like to join up with the police force.

I need to know if you can handle keeping only your duty in mind, and not taking matters into your own hands. Arrests need to be mad, and we don't condone killing or punishing someone by your own personal standards, no matter what the circumstance. If you can't handle taking revenge or what you believe to be justice out of the picture, then we can't have you.

Understood. Justice isn't something any single man gets to decide on by himself, anyway; I worked in law enforcement long enough to know that.

If I disagree with the actions of the police force, you'll know, but there's a job to be done here.
