Lux Interior, lead singer of The Cramps, died yesterday from a preexisting heart condition.
I was lucky enough to get to see them play in Reno in 1994. It wasn't one of their legendary Halloween shows, but it was still a damn good show. The one thing I've never forgotten about that show was at one point, after stripping to his skivvies, Lux shoved the whole mesh part of his microphone in his mouth. A strange memory to appreciate holding onto, but one I'm glad that I have.
