Chat rules, general announcements

Hello, apurgatorium, how are you doing? It's been a little while since we've changed hands (again), and I think it's time for a little mod-post. Many details of the new changes are still being worked out, but we do have some things for you to read. First of all, after discussion and taking suggestions, we have a revised list of ( chat rules. )

It's not a stupid question. Not at all. Spam is, for two examples:

- Repeatedly plugging your website, project, cosplay, whatever
- Sending a lot of short messages in a small period of time (but this is not always spam, it just can be).

It's recommended that you place a biography in your journal or profile explaining the ins and outs of his development.

Re: Upper Level purgatorium_mod October 8 2008, 00:19:26 UTC
Thank you very much for your input.

We intend to create incentive to live in the upper level as part of creating a less classless play structure. The upper level long, long ago lost its real meaning, and that's unfortunate. As you noted, there is also the issue of excluding people - however, there may be small events beneficial to characters that can behave and stay on the top level. A perk for characters who learn how to act in society. These wouldn't be major events but smaller events to easily earn luxuries that new characters wouldn't be able to get anyway.

As for the curfew, it is likely that it will be relaxed if not removed.

PC IS A ROBOT?! :o I never knew. She's tricky.

But seriously, this all sounds good to me. Though I do have a question. If someone posts something mind-breaking (like epic spoilers or something dumb), would it be spam to say "wat" or "..."?

If it's epic spoilers or dumb, we don't really have a rule against it, but it's considered in extremely bad taste. It's better to ignore in those cases, but I'm not inclined to slap you with a spam warning for engaging in some 'what'-ing, so don't worry.

(And yes, she is tricky. That's why we love her. ;))
