Who: Medea, Vincent Valentine.
When: At some point?
Where: Wherever Vincent's staying~.
Rating: PG.
Warnings: Medea's a little weird, but that's about it.
Summary: Medea thinks that Vincent could use a hug and, being in a good mood, she decides to pay him a visit.

Medea was, when it was all said and done, a creature subject to whims. That wasn’t to say she wasn’t capable of steadiness-oh, she could be the most devoted being in existence if she had good cause for it-but merely that she tended to prefer following what she felt in quite a few instances.

This, it seemed, would be one of those instances.

Talking to the citizens of Purgatorium, at the end of their little ‘play time’, Medea had possessed quite a few whims. Surprisingly enough, most of them had been good whims-but then, she hadn’t really ran into any of the ones who had had their powers sealed yet, now had she?-and generally involved giving small gifts, such as food or beer. (Though she still really didn’t understand why mortals wanted the latter so much.)

She’d also had a whim with Mister Valentine, too. And that was why she was making her way to the lower level of the city, wasn’t it? Because she had an urge to see him-more specifically, to hug him, but they could come to that later-and she felt like giving into it.

(… Vincent Valentine. He was, she thought, one of the more unfortunate cases in Purgatorium; what he considered his wrong and what she thought it was were rather two different things, weren’t they? It was sad, really, because Medea knew that (in all technicalities) it would be so much easier for him than for others, when it came to atoning for his sin and being able to leave Purgatorium. She had questions, though, as to whether or not he actually ever would. Then again, she honestly had questions like that for a number of the citizens, though she’d never say as much.)

So, Medea waited until responses had quieted down and then she made her way into the city, not even having to think about where to locate him. She preferred to catch him at the place serving as his home-such a clever place, that, but she’d opted to simply bypass the trouble waiting there and teleport straight from outside of the building itself-and thus appeared there quite out of nowhere, standing off to the side and unobtrusive in the room Vincent was in.

And then she smiled.

“Vincent~~.”
