Summary: Hojo lures Kairi out alone to meet with him.
Hojo was, by the time the hour chimed on the clock tower, feeling terribly pleased with himself, if not a bit weary for it. In the graveyard, anxiously anticipating the sight of Namine's Other coming around the corner at any moment, he sat with his legs crossed at the knee, looking the vision of innocence. For the first time since his arrival his coat wasn't with him, instead replaced by a small satchel - mostly basic first aid, bandages and whatnot, though accompanied by several vials of fluid. Strange-looking, clouded red fluid, the lids sealed tightly with tape.
He'd thought it through rather deeply; after all, there was only one clear and easy shot at this before the whole issue became considerably trickier, a whole kerfuffle he'd rather do without, if he could help it. Kairi couldn't be taken home, for many reasons: Larxene now had information on his interest in Kairi, and she was connected to Sasori and Rufus. Sasori knew where he lived, and moving couldn't be done without attracting attention, given what he kept in his basement. Hoping to keep his secrets any longer was mere folly.
Nevertheless, he'd had a rather good run of it.
And so, Hojo had acquired himself another home; one not far from where he was now, something he could see through the mist of the graveyard as being translucent as the ghosts themselves, squatting low and small and inconspicuous. The inside was of a worse quality than his original building, but simply for holding a single, weak captive, it was more than sufficient. The water worked. There was a computer unit outside of it. The inside had been prepared specifically for her. It was all perfect.
Now all he needed was the girl, due any moment.
