One bottle of beer on the wall... )
"I have got to get my mind off of this..." He muttered to himself, looking up at Axel's place and moving toward it quicker than before. Within moments, he knocked at the door and called out.
"Axel! I'm here..." Waiting, Demyx shifted the basket of things had in his arms and looked off.

When he heard Demyx's foot steps walking over the creaky floor, he shifted and poked his head back inside the large opening in the roof. "Yo ~ out here!" In the moon light, his green eyes seemed to glow as they eyed the basket of goodies. Score!

"Thanks. I guess I just need something to occupy myself with for a little while. I don't wanna impose, though..." He sighed again, trying not to sound as confused and flustered as he was.

His attention was put totally on what was in his hands. He muttered to himself as he rummaged. Bread, ham, and oh god liqour! Demyx was his official hero for the time being. Axel tore off half a chunk of bread and bit into it. His mouth was already full to the brim when he went about opening a bottle of liqour to drink.
"Man -- stuff -- 'lly --- good!" He spoke between chews and swallows.

"Well...Thanks, I guess..." He sighed, looking off and grabbing a piece of bread. Nibbling on it, Demyx stared off for a few moments. Not saying much, which was really odd for him, but not really bothering to make a problem of it.

Axel wasn't usually the type to ask questions, unless asking meant annoying the hell out of the other person. However, Demyx seemed to be in a bit of a state over whatever had made him so worked up. "So..." Axel paused unsure of what to ask next. He choose to drink instead of continuing his question. More booze could help.

"Yeah." He said, distant. It wasn't like him to dance around things, but this was so awkward and new to him that he really didn't know what to do about it. Back in the Organization he never really had much in the way of close contact interaction with anyone, and he couldn't remember much of his old life to tell if he had been romantic before with anyone.
"What was it like...? With Roxas, I mean." He asked, looking over to the male. It seemed about the best way to ask the question, it was a little vauge, but Axel was normally good with getting things like that anyway.

He nearly did a spit take when Demyx asked his question. The red head, blinked a few times before he turned his head to the side and begun to laugh. Axel's chest burned as he fought to catch his breath, "Is that what all this is about?" Well, not what he did or may have done with Roxas, but the fact that Demyx was in the middle of personal issues with another person? Axel couldn't help but grin as he stared over at the other Nobody. This was going to be so awesome, black mail worthy awesome ( ... )

"No, no. Not..." And again, face met plam.
"Not romantically. Oh, hell. I'm sorry, I'm such an idiot..." In his absent-mindedness, he had said something insulting without really meaning to. It wasn't like he didn't do it sometimes anyway, though. He was kind-of notoriously clueless.
"Just...Never mind it." He sighed, muttering something about stupidity under his breath.

None of them were like Roxas, and when Axel had learned that his other half was still out there, alive. It changed the ball park that they were playing on. Roxas could regain his heart, he could become whole ... but only because he could re-unite with his other half. For them, there was no going back and no second chances. At least not in Axel's book.
"Don't apologize either, last thing I care about is what you guys thought of our relationship." Axel paused and leaned back. "Just because we don't have hearts doesn't mean you can't be happy, it doesn't mean you can't like someone either."

"This place...Taught me that. And...Gave me back a lot of the things I lost, things I wanted a lot." He smiled for the first time that day, remembering all the things he'd done since coming here, people he'd met and become friends with.
"Desolate and depressing as it is? I love it here, this place is home." He laughed, surprised at his own statement. He was kinda happy, having found a place that he could start over in.
"It's a new life, and I'm finally living. Just...gotta setle this little...problem." And there went another sigh, his knees huddled close to him, and he curled up a bit.
"You know, this kinda sucks. I wish I weren't so clueless sometimes, otherwise I'd know how to just come out and appologize." He said, laying his head on a knee and looking off.

"Something happen between you and what's the kid name? Tsukasa?" Far as Axel could tell, Tsukasa seemed to care about Demyx a lot. Far be it for him to assume, but he smirked a bit as he suggested something personal had occurred between the two.

"He's a sweet kid, I like him. Just...I dunno. I don't think I'm the one he needs." He mused, kicking his legs out for a moment and laying back. Sitting in one place, even while he was a little down, was difficult for him. He was used to moving around, being active.
"Nah, this is...This is a Zexion thing." He finally caved, admitting at least that much.

"No shit...," he finally replied before he begun to chuckle again. Something about Zexion and Demyx was just far too amusing. He probably wasn't being helpful at this point.

"It's nothing serious, just a bit of awkwardness between us..." He sighed, yet again. This funk was troublesome for Demyx, and he really needed to shake it. But, true to character, he was kind-of clueless about how to react and what to do.

"Awkwardness huh? What'd you do ... fall down and like kiss him on accident?" Axel laughed, oh that'd be a site. Axel had no idea he had hit the nail on his head.
