Summary: The best thing that happened to Purgatorium in a long time: Snow. And somehow, three grown up people end up mud wrestling having a snowball fight.
Snow. Real snow. It had been a while since she had last seen snow, spending time in space most of the time and staying in bars and hotels when she actually went down to earth. She preferred the warm weather anyway, beaches looking much more attractive to her than banks of snow, and still--she enjoyed the current scenery, a bit of nostalgia coming over her and, for once, it wasn't the bad kind.
"It's strange to see Purgatorium so peaceful, isn't it?" she hummed, more to herself than to Billy although he was walking right beside her, probably watching her.
She had agreed to meet with him for a reason she still didn't really understand herself; maybe it had been the need to feel something familiar, a memory that came with the snow and wasn't bad: her time at the university, before the incident. Maybe reliving a little of that was exactly what she needed right now.
It was clear that she hadn't been the most cheerful person in the past weeks, the many departures and incidents reminding her more and more of the painful loss she had been forced to bear years ago. But now, it really was about time she pulled herself out of this mood, and she knew that. Even the weather seemed to agree with that, the snow making the normally gloomy place into an almost normal looking winter landscape.
