Summary: Makubex calls Watanuki out for their first year anniversary.
Despite the loss of his eye, MakubeX was in fairly high spirits. It had been a full year... Something he never would have calculated when this all began. He was certain one of them would have been sent home or lost interest by now. Sometimes it was good to be wrong.
The rain had ruined his initial plan of a rooftop meeting, but he knew of a fairly safe, out of the way building on the lower level. It was cozy enough, with narrow entryways difficult for the larger monsters to pass through. He'd brought a couple candles, a blanket, and a basket of food. Not much, but the best he could manage in these times.
Before leaving the house, he left a letter for Kimihiro. All that was left now was to wait.
