Summary: Makubex wakes up after messing around with his untapped potential.
I've done it, the boy thought to himself, when he'd come to. That was all that mattered. He was vaguely aware that he was indoors, no longer out in the outskirts of the upper level. Eyes still closed, Makubex chuckled darkly to himself.
Certainly, it would take time and patience to master the changes, but now he knew it could be done. It felt strange, however, attempting to embrace the changes after trying for months to suppress it and move on. But Makubex had wanted to try this ever since Jenova's last arrival. And with Diva reappearing, it only made sense. He didn't want to just sit back, unable to protect his makeshift family. No, he wanted to protect them. All of them.
It was only logical to take advantage of his unwanted gift.
He finally opened his eyes, looking around. Somehow, he wasn't surprised at his location.
