Summary: Nill and L go to bail out Mello's drunk ass.
Once again L found himself cleaning another's mess. It was a role he found himself in increasingly since his 'death' of sorts - it seemed his successors, Mello the most prominent, enjoyed throwing themselves in dangerous and occasionally stupid situations. Wammy had said it was a part of the aging process. L just found it an irritating disturbance.
Yet a disturbance he allowed to distract him. Strange.
"Nill-san." He said as he reached the stairs, surveying the area for the winged girl. He did not believe the rather frail girl could handle Mello on her own in such a state while L could hold his ground fairly easily should the need arise. He turned to the stairs - Mello was not there yet. He allowed himself an irritated scowl.
