Summary: Rikku taking Genesis back to his "old home".

Landing in a strange world was one thing, but having people claim that you were here once before, having people - strangers - claiming to know you was quite another. Genesis didn't know what to think It wasn't in his nature to believe what people told him, especially people he'd never met before. But really, was there another explanation? He tried to think back to his life in his own world. Strangely enough, he couldn't rememeber the last time he'd seen his childhood friend. Angeal, who was also said to have once been here. Genesis had to wonder what had happened to his friend. Had he simply returned to their own world? Or was he...stuck somewhere else now? Genesis frowned, not really liking the options his mind had come up with. For a moment, he wished the other was here too, then felt guilty for doing so. To wish Angeal here, would make him almost as selfish as Zack.

He made his way over slowly to the designated meeting place, very much deep in thought. He hadn't yet had a chance to explore the area. Even if he had been here before like so many had claimed, nothing looked familiar. Then there was the question of the gods. Supposedly, it was the gods who had bought him here for his sins. It was something which he couldn't argue against since his sins had been far greater than that of most people. First chance he got, he'd confront one of the gods for some much needed answers. He could hear the faint warning in his mind, ah, but these gods are different to the ones before. He tried to push it back and resolved to speak to one of them as soon as possible.

His thoughts drifted over to Rikku. She had told him that they'd been pretty good friends before which he found hard to believe. Genesis was not one to make friends so lightly. He wondered what he'd done, who he'd spoken to...so much was still a mystery to him. He hoped that seeing the old house in which he had once lived would help matters. If not then, well, there wasn't much he could do about it. Although it was his choice whether to believe it or not, he couldn't change the fact that he was stuck here. Finally reaching the clocktower, he cast a look around. Rikku was nowhere in sight. Genesis sighed inwardly, hoping he wouldn't have to wait long.
