Elena had left her office for a moment in an effort to get some water and a aspirin or something; there was a dull ache in the front of her forehead, brought about by fatigue and that endless need to run, run, run lately. There hadn't been a moment's peace between Jenova and now this supposed "Apocalypse", a thought that was laughable since she equated the end of the world with Sephiroth rather than some childish god who looked at her materia as though it was a marble when she had met him once. So, with that in mind, she had followed orders and helped to set up for the refugees they were planning, idly wishing that she was back at Sunde, back there keeping them safe

Elena tried not to let anything flicker on her face when Rod got knocked out, and almost succeeded except in the barest hints of worry in her eyes. Dammit, this was getting out of control! All this to get her to go hang out at Sunde? All this for... for some whiskey or whatever Schuldig had given him?

"I have a job to do here!" Her voice didn't waver, strong and angry. "I can't just be like you and come and go as I please! I have responsibilities and obligations! I don't expect some selfish panty-thief like you to understand that, but it's how it is! I'm not going!"

He...He wouldn't really go ahead and start cutting people up, would he? All for her? All to get her out of there? But... why?

"This is stupid, Yuber! I don't have time or the patience for your stupidity! Go home!"
