The gun under his coat dug into his rib cage, reminding him he wasn't alone in this litte foray. No doubt Black would also be armed. He had said "civilly" but how long would that last? Would it even begin? Traps aren't exactly civil and White felt sure he was walking toward one.
Pausing momentarily across the street from Black's new home, he scanned the dwelling. The dark spy's shadow could be seeing pacing from the window. "Nervous?" White thought aloud. Quitely, he snuck around to the back of the house and slipped into the bedroom window.

The white suit stood out in the otherwise dingy and dark room. "White. You could have just used the front door, you know." He huffed as he lowered his weapon, but he didn't put it away, not yet.

"Front door? That is a truly amature mistake. It's likely wired with explosives. I've fallen for that one only once before." White shifted his weight while keeping his gun on Black's heart. "I thought you said we were going to be civil and already you've turned a gun on me. I told you what would happen should this be a trick."

Black holstered his gun slowly so as not to look as though he were about to try something. He also held his hands up for a second as a show of submission. He knew what White was aiming at just as he knew he'd be dead in seconds if he tried anything.
"Calm down. I thought you were an intruder or something. Put your gun away."

"I regret the way that went down. I should never have... I should have just..." Even now he couldn't bring himself to express his true feelings for the man in front of him. Any emotion other than anger was a weakness and he couldn't bring himself to admit to being weak.

"Black, you're a damned idiot. Why couldn't you have said that before? Before we were here, before I shot you?"

"You... you know why I couldn't before. Why... Why do you think I got sent here? Pride... is... a sin you know..." It was becoming increasingly difficult to make words but Black was determined to try. For a brief second he wondered if being stubborn was also a sin.

After the stark white garmet was removed, White pulled Black to his chest and held him. "You're an idiot Black, you know that? You never know what you want and look at you now. You're dying in the arms of the enemy. Dying for something that could have been avoided. And what am I supposed to do now? The whole of ShinRa's finest will be after me tomorrow. How am I to explain this? I doubt 'he told me to do it' is going to go over so well. Goddamn it Black." He was babbling as he tried to hold himself together. White knew he had always been the more composed of the two and wasn't about to loose that image now.
