Summary: L and Gale decide to meet after a conversation on L's journal.
The tower was what Gale had been talking about. L had wanted to take off his shoes, but when he saw the condition of the place, decided for his own physical safety that leaving them on was the best idea. The way this place was described to him as normally being and the way it felt now were different. Now it had a lighter air to it, a happier feel, and for some reason, L felt that happiness quite nicely. His dark eyes glanced up -- the tower. And that person standing nearby.
That had to have been Gale. The one who he had spoken to over the journal and discussed the matter of love with. It was an interesting feeling, but L wasn't entirely positive that was the feeling, and if so, why would he have felt it towards someone that he barely knew. He shouldn't have felt connected to them at all.
