Who: Michael and Raphael When: Today~ Where: Around the lower level. Rating: Let's say PG-13 for now for Mika's dirty mouth. Warnings: .... Mika's dirty mouth. Summary: Will do this later.
Michael could also note that there was something strange about today, but after some thought, he figured it was just because he was used to either being by himself or hanging out with Raphael and the switch in that had finally caught up with him. After all, these days, Michael was usually either with Togepi or with Reno.
So, he really wasn't dwelling on his almost need to see his (possible) best friend. He just inwardly shrugged to himself, said whatever and rose out of his chair to go find the other. (Not like he'd ever let Raphael know that he had really wanted to see him, though.)
"Yo, Raphael," he called out, making his way out of his room and towards the blond's. "Where the hell you wanting to go?"
Well, that had been quick. Granted, they lived in the same house, but Raphael had only just asked him to come over. Hm. He stood, running a hand through his hair again. "Let's just get out of here," he said, looking to the other arch angel.
And then, something occurred to him. Something that really should have struck his attention years ago. He couldn't even figure out why it hadn't, but -- Michael was really, very, cute. And probably better looking than most of the girls Raphael fucked around with. As a matter of fact --
-- As a matter of fact, why the hell was he thinking about that?! Michael was his best friend, right? (Well, come to think of it, it had irritated Raphael to see him with Reno, but he had simply thought that that was because Reno was a human. Nothing less, nothing more.)
Michael, upon entering Raphael's room, started to say, 'Yeah, all right.' He might have even added on something about how it had better not be a boring place, a hope that maybe they'd find something worthwhile to do in a idiotic setting like this, but--
Well, when he went into the room and physically laid eyes upon Raphael, he seemed to lose his train of thought and his ability to speak all in one go.
It felt like he was, for the first time in all of the years that he had known Raphael, actually looking at his best friend then. And he felt stupid in that moment, but he wasn't sure if it was because he hadn't noticed how attractive the other was before or if it was because... well, he wasn't really the type of person to notice things like that, was he?
"..." Standing there, Michael just sort of... stared.
Maybe it wasn't just that Reno was a human that bothered him. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that it was Michael's first relationship, and Raphael just wasn't used to that. It really shouldn't have been that much of an issue, but somehow, it was. And now? Now all he felt, really, was jealousy.
He also couldn't really tear his attention, or his eyes for that matter, away from the other. Which was fine, really, because Michael appeared to be having the same problem.
It took a while, but Raphael finally brought himself to say something. His tone was different, softer, but -- "What are we waiting for?"
There was, of course, a double-meaning to that, one which Raphael was not even aware of.
