And there Carrot was, sitting on top of the fountain, legs crossed holding both his knees. He still wasn't sure of why he was here. But, how his younger brother responded, Carrot wasn't sure. What was strange enough, he didn't have his sword.

Fingers druming Carrot waits, well not for too long. There he is. Smiling beaming, the older lifts his arm in the air, "hey brother!" Carrot jumps off the fountain resting both arms on his hip. "So..." Carrot looks around wondering when the others were about to show.

"Carrot..." a small smile appeared on Marron's face, relief. He was alright, but Marron still felt guilty for all the time of being away from his older brother, not being able to protect him.

"While I am glad you are here, this world is very different from ours..." Marron said seriously.

Carrot tilts his head back with a little surprise look. He scratches the back of his head, "so...are we meeting the girls and Gateau here?"

"Different huh..."

[young_mystic]

"They are not here," Marron shook his head. "Millefuille was here a while ago but returned."

"Yes, it is a place for atonement for sins that we have committed in the past..."

[carrot_beast]

"Atone huh.." Carrot respond sitting himself down again gazing to the sky. "So, how we get out of here?" Carrot questions calmly.

[young_mystic]

"There is no way out...we are stuck here until the gods who rule over this place decide to let us go," he said.
"You will have to find a job here as well, to get to the Upper Level."

"Heh..guess we'll have to enjoy our stay here," Carrot responds smiling. He lifts himself up again, resting both hands on his waist. Carrot turns his head towards him giving a blanks stare, "...work..." It took a moment to click, "I'll stay down here..." Carrot grins nervously.

"It wasn't a suggestion, you will need a job to get anything here even on the lower level," Marron said seriously.

"I can see what I can do at you where I work but you will have to be willing to work hard."

"Aww, come on," Carrot whines. "Isn't working for free enough?"

[young_mystic]

"Not here. There are no sorcerers here but this place is still dangerous..." he sighed, not sure how to tell Carrot about being shot. It had been bad enough the first time...

"Monsters right," Carrot responds glancing a side. Great just what he needed and his sword no where to be found. "So, how long have you been here?" This bugged Carrot's curiosity.

"It is not the monsters I worry about. There are those who are similar to sorcerers back home, perhaps worse..." Marron said seriously, hoping Carrot would take his warning seriously. That Wesker had shot him just to prove a point...he sighed before looking up at his brother's question.
"Well, I believe it has been several months at least.."

Carrot rests his hands on his hip stretching his back. He begins to rotate his body to the side glancing up again. "Heh, you worry too much. Even if what you say is true, we'll...figure something...out" Carrot looks back to Marron smiling with confident. "Maybe it'll be a bit tougher without the girls and Gateau but it won't stop us--?"

Carrot's smile turns to a jaw drop hearing his brother answered. He quickly turns around, arms hanging, "but--you were---" He was with him the whole time before coming here right?

Marron had to smile slightly at that, Carrot always seemed to look on the bright side.
"I..hope so. There is a lot I have to tell you though..."

"That is strange...I have heard from people being taken from various points in their world's history than others from the same world, perhaps that is what happened here..."

"What kind of world is this again!" Carrot spazzes.

"Well," Carrot begins resting his hand on the back of his hips. "We have all night to talk. Want to talk here or at your place, you do have a place right?"

"A very strange one..." Marron commented.

"We should go back to my place. I actually live on the upper level but for the month, I will remain here on the lower one with you. I have a house I stayed at when I had to," he explained.
