It took less time than expected, Saya rampaging on from building to building, Haji trailing behind her with great doubt. He'd stopped short of asking Asellus for help, regarding the act as a breach of his allegiance to Saya, but nothing about the young man claiming to be Diva's Chevalier felt quite right. And Saya...

Saya's behavior these past hours had alarmed him greatly. Gone was the sweet, pained woman he had waited for in the years following Diva's defeat, as though releasing all the ugly things she couldn't afford to express during the battle. As though, for the first time, the Chevalier's arrival had awakened in her more than her anger and sorrow for Riku--her hate. In spite of all things, Haji had never before seen Saya hate her enemy so
