Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...

Joker's laugh echoed like a banshee's cry through the junkyard, resounding off the high walls of scrap iron and rusted parts, at once inviting and repelling. The Joker himself waited deeper in, smiling his demonic grin, his red eyes piercing the darkness they were enveloped in. He was loving this. He'd known someone would come for him sooner or later, and this person was making enough noise tromping through the junk he'd scattered to wake an army of the dead.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...

In his hands, Joker held more toys he had made, eager to try out on the unwitting Purgatorium populace. It was unfortunate that he would be unable to fulfill the maximum lulz he had wanted to, but at least he could try to make the poor intruder laugh it up. Chuckling and laughing hysterically, the impish criminal from another world sat back in his small makeshift throne, tilting the crown on his head to a disjointed angle. The look was surreal, disturbing. Joker loved it.

"All around Purgatorium," he said softly, chuckling ( ... )

Ah, that was a laugh that would have had most anyone running for cover or freezing like a deer caught in the headlights. Larxene did neither. She didn't flinch, didn't cower, did nothing beyond lifting her chin a little and casting her bright gaze about the area. Sure, maybe she should have at least feigned terror or something of the like, but what point was there? If he tried running, she would hear him. If he tried fighting... well, she was hoping for that option. It was far more fun to take down an adversary that fought back rather than stab them as they ran away ( ... )

"I'd love to come out and play," Joker replied, shouting his words so that the Nobody would hear the resounding echoes as a result, "but I'm afraid I am simply swamped with work at the moment! But I did prepare toys for the amusement of unexpected visitors! Have a laugh! Nyeh heh huh ha ha hA HA HA HA HA HAAA!"

Joker's toys were not his standard Joker Venom, but sharpened flechettes of steel, hidden in tubes, launched by springs, set off by various tripwires everywhere. He chuckled to himself, pondering what this kiddy would look like after being reduced to bloody swiss cheese. "Certainly not something that I would want on a reuben," he commented sinisterly. "Though perhaps as an... appetizer, hmm?" Again, his mad laughter resounded throughout the junk yard, as Larxene reached the trap hall he had made.

"Fun times tonight," he mused.

The blonde didn't bother trying to resist the urge to roll her eyes. Out of all the people in that God-forsaken place, this definitely took the cake for most corny and cliche. Didn't it just figure she'd chosen the villain most likely to irritate her to try and capture.

No, not try. She would. There was no 'try' about it; Larxene didn't think in terms like that. She did something, and she succeeded. Simple as that.

So she moved forward, and her steps grew surprisingly quiet even when traveling over the gritty debris underfoot. One hand slipped slowly into her pocket, and between her fingers formed the small, sharp little kunai that she so cherished. Having an unlimited supply of weapons at one's disposal certainly made things... convenient. Her head bowed slightly, eyes rolling up to survey the hall. Did he really think she was stupid enough to wander in there without any idea of whether or not he was waiting for her beyond whatever traps he'd undoubtedly laid out? Larxene was many things, but a fool was not one of them ( ... )

"The Bat would have been smarter," Joker said. "The Bat would have noticed that tripwire wasn't to pull anything open... it was holding something shut." A tube popped open to Larxene's left, and about two dozen sharpened razor flechettes of scrap steel shot out from the spring loaded tube at the blond Nobody.

"Be careful," Joker taunted, "I'm afraid I forgot to clean up my toys! Nyah ha ha ha hA HAH A HAH AH AHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!"

It would have been the end of any normal human, perhaps, having not had reflexes quick enough to save themselves or done much more than realize too late what had happened. But Larxene was as fast as the lightning that flowed through her, and the split-second her senses were away of movement and sound nearby, the Nobody was out of the way and on solid, safe ground only a foot or so away. She landed in a crouch, lips pulling back into a snarl. She was in no mood for this. He had to be close. Close enough to be watching her, seeing as there was no possible way he had cameras or anything of the like ( ... )

Joker's howl echoed across the junk yard. A false pile opened up to reveal the jumpsuited clown, frowning and sizzling. "I knew I should have insulated that chamber," he said, coughing up a cloud of black smoke. Grinning suddenly, and chuckling weakly, he pointed one finger dramatically at Larxene.

"You're dethpicable," he said in a pitch perfect imitation of Daffy Duck, before hitting the ground with a dull thud.

Clown Prince of Crime or not, electricity still hurt a human.

The blonde's head jerked up, bright eyes focusing instantly on the Joker's figure. She remained still for a moment even after he hit the ground, observing closely for any signs that he might have been faking. Slowly, ever so slowly, she rose back up to her feet and snorted.

"Yuh huh, nice try."

As though some normal human with his ridiculous tricks could have possibly taken her on. Well - perhaps normal wasn't the word to describe him, but... normal enough. She sneered at his prone figure and cautiously stepped over to him, gave him a swift kick to the side (just to ensure he was staying down), and then using that same boot to push him over and onto his back.

Rope wasn't hard to locate in the junk all around, and Larxene needn't walk more than a few feet away to find some. It was that which she intended to bind his ankles and wrists and from there... well, she'd just have to take him back to SOLDIER headquarters until she figured out what to do with him.

((ooc: I wasn't sure if he was planning on getting back up or not? If not, ( ... )

[ooc: he's caught. He decided not to use his fighting skills on her. This is a modified RotJ Joker, so he actually has quite developed fighting skills. He's still human, though. Since this is backdated, he woke up in a jail cell with breasts, starting off the gender event for him.]
