Summary: Both Makubex and Sakura are having a bad week. Makubex is heading to Shura to work. Sakura is heading there to fill Tieria in on the whole Diva-Watanuki story. Awkwardness ensues.
...what a month it had been. It had been hard enough losing Ginji. Harder, still, to lose Kazuki and Toshiki so soon after. But with a new job to keep him distracted, Makubex figured he could endure. He'd been successful until the entire mess with Watanuki... And, of course, after that, Sakura didn't seem to want to talk to him and Shido had gone home as well. He hadn't felt so alone since... well, since Ginji and the other Kings had walked out of Mugenjou.
Makubex contemplated telling Maizuru he had fallen ill. He certainly looked it. He hadn't slept the past two nights. It would be harder to maintain his neutral, professional persona today. But calling in sick after only one day on the job was unacceptable in the boy's eyes, so... off he went.
It wasn't as if he could hide anything from Maizuru, anyway.
