Who: Rin and Misa When: After Rin's Journal Entry Where: Fountain in the Lower Levels Rating: G Warnings: A lot of cute stuff?XD Summary: Rin and Misa go meet up and have fun with the mud puddles!
Rin didn't mind really. It was really the young woman that had spoken with her over the network, most definitely. Their personalities are the same. She was glad it was the right person and not someone else. She heard Misa speak about her dragon, and how she had it as a pet. She smiled and nodded her head, "Hai, Sesshoumaru-sama gave me Safaiikko in place of Ah-Uhn, from home," the girl replied, "Safaiikko was scary at first, but he's much kinder to Rin now," she replied grinning. She was happy that Misa had spoke as she did. Rin like conversations very much.
Rin watched as the young woman glanced at her dragon and kept a firm look at it. Safaiikko was indeed a bit agitated still, but it had calmed down due to the reassurance of the small child. Safaiikko remained indifferent now, smoke flaring from his nostrils almost naturally, "Has onee-san never seen a dragon before?" the girl inquired out of curiousity most likely. It seemed tha way to Rin and she had to ask, "It's okay if onee-san pets him, Safaiikko won't do anything to you, Rin promises," she replied smiling. Rin stood next the dragon as the tall girl looked down towards her. Her dark hair was in her face for a bit as she glanced at the tall young woman.
"Ne, Onee-san, have you ever flew with a dragon before?" the girl inquired again with a grin before realizing that they had not moved yet, "OH, onee-san where do we go from here?" she added. If course, if they needed to go anywhere far, Safaiikko was the main source of traveling.
Misa gave a small giggle, she had only been here a few minutes and she was already enjoying herself. Misa never gotten the chance to play with anyone as a small girl, When her parents died, she was mostly alone. None of the other kids seemed to want to interact with her. Then when becoming a model it wasn't right to play as children did, she had to be mature and be well respected. Only the small amount of fun she ever had, was talking with Kira over the news broadcasts. Then after that, most of it was around Ryuuzaki. Then everyone she cared about, left. All killed of one by one. That's why she enjoyed it here so much, and disliked people complaining. At-least they had something to go back to, she didn't so to Misa, the gods were her savior.
"Sesshoumaru is really kind to you, isn't he?" She smiled, looking back over at the dragon, wondering why Demyx hadn't gotten her a pet. "Uh, no. Dragons were just creatures in books where I come from." Misa giggled, it was like Rin could read minds, or maybe it was because she was making it to obvious. "Pet him? Misa would love to!" Misa took a few steps forward, cautiously. Raising one of her jewellery filled arms, keeping it at a short distance from the dragon at first. Then pushing it further onto its head, petting it gently.
"Flew a dragon? Onee-chan. Misa-Misa has always been told they never existed and was just a figure of ones imagination." Misa giggled nervously pulling her hand away from Safaiikko, smiling gently. Misa turned herself, trying to remember which way to go. Everywhere looked exactly alike, it was hard to tell which direction she previously emerged from. "It's beside the clock-tower. I think, in that direction!" Misa turned and pointed, to a little more west of the clock-tower itself. Then reassuring herself with the familiar building in which as a five year old, refused to go past.
Rin kept her childish warming smile as Misa had been enjoying herself with appearance of the giant sapphire coloured dragon. The dragon seemed to be calm, understanding that this person was not a threat, but someone that the little girl chose to be with. Rin had never played around with adults before. It was fun when she played with Jakken-sama, but Jakken-sama never liked her childish games and always scolded her for being immature about things and being stupid and ignorant. Even so, Rin still missed the toad-like imp youkai that she traveled with. He protected her, despite being forced to protect her, he still did. Yes, she was spoiled in her own way, but she didn't show it through her expressions or the way she acted.
She was alway obedient listening to orders, walking when she was told, and sitting when she was told. She didn't want to be hated, perhaps that was why she feared sometimes of things like that. Rin always had caused trouble for Sesshoumaru-sama, but Sesshoumaru-sama never seemed to find it troublesome. She felt safe around the tall youkai and everyone back home. Despite that, she had many new friends and a family of sort here as well.
"Yes, Sesshoumaru-sama is the nicest person I know. Everyone glares at him and acts mean towards him, but Sesshoumaru-sama doesn't seem to care. Everyone is intimidated by him, but Rin doesn't understand why, perhaps because m'lord is not human," she replied recalling the true fact that the youkai lord was nothing but a daiyoukai, the strongest of them all, "No? Creatures in books? Onee-san lives in a strange world," the girl replied with widen eyes. How could one never seen a dragon in their life before? It didn't seem to be right at all. Rin giggled when Misa-Misa-onee-san decided to agree and pet the dragon with her outstretched arm, a bit hesitant but she seemed to pet it gently, as if it was made of glass.
The dragon didn't seem to mind, but nuzzled into her touch a bit more. It was a gentle creature really as it was violent, but that was due to its nature. After being tamed, it was more than just wild. It was about to snap at the young woman thinking that she would harm him, but nonetheless, she had not, and the dragon allowed her gentle touch on his scale blue skin, "Dragons are real, so are youkais and imps!" the girl replied in retort excited. At the same time curious to where Misa-Misa-onee-san had lived to be ignorant of youkais and imps, "That way it is!" the girl chimed cheerfully, "is it far? If it's far Safaiikko can take us. If it's short shall we walk onee-san?!" the girl inquired.
Misa gave another warming smile as she turned back to the young one. She felt more safe that she knew the dragon was not a threat and wouldn't attack her. She was still amazed, this would be something to tell Demyx after all this. She finally got to see a dragon and pet it. She now, being the small child inside wanted a pet dragon.
"I don't see why, Sesshoumaru-Sama sounds like a nice person if he takes care of Rin so well. People shouldn't judge on appearance." Misa spoke quite firmly. People used to do the same with Kira, something Misa even here still did not tolerate. Kira helped her become who she was today, and even avenged her parents death when no-one else did. "Misa does onee-chan. It is very strange," She spoke softly, she would have rather been brought up in a different world. Rin-onee-chan's seemed to full of adventure and fun. Demyx's even sounded amazing, travelling to all these different worlds in search of a heart. All Misa could have done in her own world was do Kira's bidding and watched her loved ones die one by one.
"Youkais?" Misa asked with widened eyes, a jaw dropped. Demons? They were real to? Misa had never seen such a creature. Only Death Gods, they could have passed for demons. "Misa-Misa has never seen one of those onee-chan. Misa-Misa has only seen humans and Death Gods. And mythical creatures in books,"
"It's not to far, I'm sure we could walk. Even If Misa is sure that building is haunted." Misa pointed to the building she seemed to have developed a small fear for.
Rin returned it. The dragon was calm now, no longer snapping as much as it should be. The large dragon then laid its head on the hard cold floor of stone where the fountain stood its glass blue eyes glanced at the two females, as if watching them, guarding thing by any means necessary. Rin was excited to be going different places. Of course making new friends, and a new onee-san to look up to. Misa-onee-san really would be a great onee-san if she were Rin's onee-san. Just like Marron-nii-sama. If it not were for their eye coloures, they could have been mistaken for true siblings too.
"Sesshoumaru-sama isn't really nice to others. He's very cold, but Sesshoumaru-sama does care about thigns once in a while, and sometimes he would show his expressions, but Sesshoumaru-sama is always composed. Well, where Rin lives, Youkais like Sesshoumaru-sama are not considered a nice thing. Rin believes that not all youkais are horrible and mean," she replied smiling casually to Misa, her eyes twinkled with excited delight and small slivers of wind made her dark tresses of dark chocolate hair flicker a bit. It was a rather warm evening with a nice wind current to it
"Hai, Youkais. Sesshoumaru-sama is a super powerful Youkai!" Rin replied with an excited reply, "Youkais are very realy. If Misa-Misa-onee-san ever met Sesshoumaru-sama, Sesshoumaru-sama is a youkai!" the girl replied, "Death gods? Rin never heard of that before," she replied blinking a bit. Death gods, were there really such things? She was also ignorant things in Misa's home as well, it was really interesting. She wanted to know more, but she glanced over at the place again, "OKAY let's walk then!" she cheered, "Safaiikko will stay here and guard us, just in case some bad people want to hurt us!" the girl replied.
Haunted? Really? She wasn't sure, but it didn't look so scary. She was excited to go exploring in it. Maybe for later. Though, whatever they were going to do, it would be most fun, Rin believed that very much of course. She never really felt afraid of anything before. Perhaps, being around youkais had made her strengthen up. Sesshoumaru-sama tolerated no weakness, and Rin didn't want to be a weakness to the youkai lord.
Her golden eyes peered over at the dragon. It seemed a lot calmer than it was at first. She was glad, not having her Death Note returned yet, she was glad there was some sort of protection. She hoped her Death Note returned soon, she didn't really want another bone broken like last time. She lately just got her bandage of her wrist.
Misa always wanted a little sister, she never had any siblings. Apart from Zack-kun while arriving here. But- She had a feeling he had forgotten when he returned to the normal age. At least now, maybe she could have a little sister.
"Sesshoumaru-Sama reminds Misa a lot of Light-Kun. Light-Kun was really cold and uneager to meet or associate with others. Misa-Misa never used to see any real emotion with Light-Kun. Every smile was fake, every laugh." Misa spoke giving a small sigh. "Yes, Death Gods in our world has the power to say who lives or dies. Misa-Misa had a Death God, her name was Rem, she died sadly though protecting Misa-Misa." She gave a small warming smile to Rin.
"Really? Wow, Misa-Misa would never have known. Misa was always told they were not real. YES!" Misa finally burst out with excitement. "Lets go!" She giggled beginning to walk forward slightly, making sure it wasn't to fast that Rin-onee-chan had to run.
Rin only stood, hands behind her back as she waited. She kept that small gentle smile she always had on her face. She told herself always, no matter the situation, it was always best to smile whole-heartedly and not half-heartedly. She was glad that Misa-Misa-onee-san had accepted her friendship. Though all the people she had met... some had come and gone, like Satoshi and Dizzy. Dizzy didn't remember anything of Rin, it made her sad, but she understood. Satoshi was probably in a better place. She was happy for that as well. Misa-Misa-onee-san was the next important person to her.
"Misa-Misa-onee-san's Light will get along with Sesshoumaru-sama very well! They will stare at each other in silence, while Rin and onee-san laugh," she replied cheerfully, her brown hues bright once more, "Really, that's really cool. Misa-Misa-onee-san had a Death God as a friend? It must be so cool!" she replied, "Onee-san has a kind Death God. Rin always thought of Death Gods to be scary," she replied thoughtfully.
She giggled when she had told her about Sesshoumaru-sama being a demon. It must excite her new onee-san that there was a youkai in the world that she could meet, but nonetheless, she didn't ad anymore comments then necessary. When Misa took off, Rin rushed off, following her without a second thought. She was excited and didn't mind if Misa would faster than she could run, Rin would keep up. The child had always kept up with Sesshoumaru, and his strides were long and sharp, fast and hers were fast but sloppy, but she could always keep up. She couldn't wait to see what they would find.
Misa gave another warming smile, her golden eyes watched down at the small other. Rin wasn't like anyone else she had ever met, for a child she was extemely brave. She had faced all sorts of wonderful creatures and still had a smile to show. Misa knew that Rin-onee-chan would become very important to her , like a real life sister. Misa knew that if anything happened to Rin, like Sesshoumaru-Sama, would stand and protect and be with her all of the way. Something anyone would do for someone close to them.
"Misa-Misa thinks so too. Misa-Misa and Rin-onee-chan would also make sure they didn't start any trouble." Misa giggled. "Yes. Misa-Misa had Rem, she was a very nice Death God. She was scary at first, but looks didn't matter, Misa-Misa liked Rem's personality the most." Misa smiled, she must have known how it felt. Misa always susspected Youkais and other mysterious creatures to look frightening and scary, but Rin seemed to get on with them so well. Looks didn't have to matter.
she titled her head backwards to Rin, making sure she was keeping up ok. It felt strange, normally she was the one trailing behind Light-Kun, following him everywhere he went. She felt a bit different being up in front. Her head slowly looked towards the front, noticing the mud-puddles. "There they are!" Misa pointed, giggling childlishly. wshe clapped her hands together and began to quicken her pace towards the mud-puddles.
The girl grnned as she her smile was returned. Yes, she was always down to earth, and always thinking it positive, though at moments, she would feel a sense of insecurity or weakness, but she didn't want to be completely vulnerable to that. She was very different from children her age. She was used to things normal children were afraid of. Rin remembered all her moments with the youkai lord, the troubles they'd been through, and how he always seemed to come to her rescue. Misa-Misa seemed that way to the young child as well, fearless and very kind. She was really energetic too.
"Yes, Sesshoumaru-sama might do something Rin doesn't like, but it will be okay! Yes onee-san, we stop them if they start trouble hee ♥!" the girl cheered. She listened intently to the explanation of her onee-san's Death God. It was amazing. Death Gods were real too, just like youkais and everything else. She was so eager to learn about manymore different monsters and creatures in this world, and she would start here, and she was just glad that she could have fun with everyone close to her, even if it was once or twice. It was important and cherishable.
Rin's eyes twinkled with delight when they reached towards the mud puddles. Sesshoumaru might be furious later, but she didn't mind, she was looking forward to having fun and explain it later. She was already about to jump in and when Misa Misa pointed it out, Rin certainly followed right after her in a more faster pace towards the large pools of mud and ickiness, that she wouldn't care about. The mud puddle reminded her of chocolates, except mud tasted bad compared to chcoalates, not that she at mud before. She just assumed.
"OH YAY!!" she cheered happily as she rushed towards the mud puddles.
Misa was never just your average girl. She had always been a model, ever since she was young. She never associated with the other kids, but seemed to be just like them in many ways. She was energetic, fun, caring and everything else, even her bad quality reflected of her childhood. Rin didn't seem like all the other children back home, she seemed more grateful for the things she had than what she never. She didn't seem envious of the other kids having better possessions than herself. She didn't even didn't seem the type to talk back to the elders or disrespect them in anyway, in all Misa wanted to be alot more like Rin.
"So will Light-Kun. Light-Kun has these mind games he likes to play. So Misa thinks Sesshoumaru-Sama wouldn't be happy about that." Misa giggled, remembering how he tricked Ryuuzaki into being his friend. Rin's home sounded much better than her own, everything that you could read in books about how Japan used to be before the revolution. Youkai's could be found under mythical creatures along with dragons. It was interesting to hear that they are actually real.
"YAY!" Misa shouted in delight, running quickly towards them. They didn't look as big as she previously saw them, with only being under Rin's height, they seemed huge. Misa let herself jump in, feeling the hard ground hit of one of her knee-caps. But- for Rin's sake, she pretended nothing happened, slashing the mud around her.
Rin kept running, and running, while she looked over at her onee-san. Misa seemed so happy and cheerful, that Rin enjoyed it very much that she was being treated like a friend to Misa. Misa seemed like an older sister, someone Rin could really look up to, and someone who will be there for her. Rin was grateful for everything she got and she didn't complain or disrespect anyone. Without giving anymore doubts about jumping, since it was rather too later, and she was so close to the mud puddle, Rin jumped, with a small splash, giving mud to rain when it fell back down.
She had noticed Misa-Misa-onee-san was already in there and mud was covering her form. Rin's clothes was already covered in the dirty substance, from head to toe, and her face had traces of mud sliding down her cheeks. She was splashed some mud in the air. Sesshoumaru-sama never allowed her to do that, she wondered why, but it was too late now, and she would be looking forward to being slightly scolded by the inu youkai.
"Oh, that sounds like fun! Light-san must be really smarT! Sesshoumaru-sama might just like that!!!" the girl replied, thinking about it for a bit, though even if she said that, Sesshoumaru-sama wasn't one that was would be looking forward to such things. He would probably think of it as useless. It was Sesshoumaru after all. Misa's home sounded quite interesting to Rin of course. She would like to visit Misa's home if that was possible, which she doubt it of course. Rin giggled, "Misa-Misa-onee-san is covered in so much mud!" she shouted cheerfully, grinning.
Rin watched as the young woman glanced at her dragon and kept a firm look at it. Safaiikko was indeed a bit agitated still, but it had calmed down due to the reassurance of the small child.
