Summary: Abel is working late and Damien happens to meet him there~
Day-old sticky buns were almost as good as when they were freshly made. Abel chewed on one as he typed, his usual beaming expression having fled as much as the other workers in the labs had done so. He supposed they had lives and loved ones here, but not Abel. He had met a couple people since he'd come to this place, but he hadn't gone out of his way to make any of them into close friends. After being told that this place was to punish people of their sins, he didn't want anyone to see his burden for his sin.
Of course that didn't mean he was going to not use them to his advantage. 02 knew things that could help people out and Abel was willing to deal with the annoying hunger and insistent voice of 02 in order to get that information out of them. The sugar helped keeping them quiet but he knew one of these days, 02 will push for Returner's blood. At lest for now, he was able to hold 02 back from breaking free. It still didn't mean he couldn't stop talking to the insistent nanites.
"Okay, okay, I get that part, but what exactly is the next half suppose to mean? I don't even think I can find it on the keyboard and no, I am not releasing the limits. Last time you nearly fried the system," he muttered clutching at his head. He set his glasses down and eyed the complex formula for lighter, tougher steel. "Look, we went over this before, giving them something will better all of us and don't even think about that. We lived those nine hundred years so we can go without for a couple weeks."
