At the question he looked her over again. He found it odd that he knew she was not speaking Japanese but he could understand her. Oddly she could not understand the sign.
"It simply says 'Looking for a job' which I am." He adjusted his glasses and stood up form his sitting position. Clearly done is a manner that both was clam and non-threatening but at the same time suggested an uncoiling of a spring like it could snap forward if needed.
With a slight bow because clearly she wore no daishō "My name is Jin."

"Shu-Ra and Shin-Ra you say." Two things with close names suggested a similar origin.
"Fighting skills you say." He folded an arm into his kimono in a way that was casual but made his daishō clear to see.
"You could say I have some skill in that. What do these groups do?"
