------
He obviously wasn't in Soul Society anymore.
And it didn't seem like Hueco Mundo, either.
But perhaps he was somewhere in the real world? The captain was still unsure.
While Hueco Mundo seemed perfectly devoid of everything except for sand and dead trees, the captain found himself amidst heaps and mountains of scrapped metal and other contraptions. He was completely surrounded by an abundance of broken and discarded items that'd been abandoned in the junk yard. Despite this, he spotted a brightly flashing screen hidden in an overturned van; upon investigating, he found a perfectly functional computer terminal. Finding that it was a communications network, he found that he could use the journaling system. Before long, he'd posted a journal entry demanding an explanation and stating a trespass against the law and order of Soul Society.
A few replies trickled in, including Rukia, third division's vice-captain Kira Izuru, and one of the Espada.
After replying, he decided to explore more of his surroundings and thoroughly analyze his capabilities in a place like this. Of course, it hadn't gone without notice that his reiatsu was very well nonexistent; merely drawing his zanpakutou confirmed he'd be unable to release its true forms. Even simple kidou or shunpo were also currently impossible. The captain wondered if the others (the Espada who had confronted him on his journal as well as Rukia and Kira Izuru) had also been stripped of their abilities. He wanted to be prepared in the event that he was the only one suffering such a handicap--it was very unfitting of his position, after all.
With that in mind, he slowly (and very stoicly) trudged his way up one of the mountainous piles of junk and seeking a way out of the vast and filthy dump.
