"That looked rather painful."

If there was a worse person in all Purgatorium to run into, it could only be Grantz and Hojo. For the past few days, Wesker had kept something of a low profile, keeping himself out of things and watching what Shin-Ra might be up to.

Leaning against the building, Wesker was once more a study of darkness in his clothing right down to his longcoat. He had to be bribing someone to keep fixing his clothing or to buy new ones. The gods themselves were probably the only ones who knew how or what Wesker did when no one was watching.

His sunglasses were on, shielding his odd eyes from view for the time being. There was no change in his relaxed seeming stance as she exited the alleyway and fully into his line of sight. Whether he had seen what she did or was just commenting on her yell was up to her to decide. For the time being, he merely watched her. New people were always coming in and going, so many Wesker rarely learned names. Still, it passed the time until tonight.

"Not very." Elle cheerily responded with a shrug, although she moved her arm so that her bloody hand was hidden behind her back. "I've been through worse." She nodded down toward the sling on her right arm. "I've been through a hell of a lot worse than that, even. So I'll deal."

She looked the man up and down, her gaze lingering on him for quite some time. He reminded her of one of the agents of the Company in his mannerisms and choice in clothing. She was probably the only agent who liked to wear some color. It kept her youthful, or something along the lines of that.

Perking an eyebrow, she licked at her lips and gave the man a lopsided grin. "So. Was I all that interesting, so that you felt you needed to watch me, or are you just passing by on your way to someplace else?" Leaning foward, she brought her finger in close to his nose, but then pulled it away at the last second. She had forgotten she didn't have her full ability here. There wasn't any point in giving someone a shock if they wouldn't feel it.

Wesker was, quite frankly, a little shocked even without the electricity. He was used to people becoming wary and on-guard the second he was spotted, not sauntering over to him and nearly touching his nose. How very interesting. Now to decide if this was interesting in the 'this person needs harmed' sort of way or 'this person is actually one of the few worth investigating' brand ( ... )

"Hardly. It's something I do to people who think they're being cute. Watching me, not minding their own business. Things like that. They just need a zap to the face to teach them a lesson. They don't like being cute as often, when they're curled up on the floor in pain." Elle gave him a malicious smile, holding her hand out. It took a great deal of energy and patience, but eventually, the tiniest trace of lightning crackled in the palm of her hand ( ... )

Wesker watched the electricity gathering in her hand silently. It was a good thing there wasn't a telepath in the area or they would have known that in that quiet moment Wesker was debating seriously with himself whether or not to kill her. There was one big weakness Albert Wesker had, and that was electricity. Someone having that did not make him happy in the least ( ... )

Elle rolled her eyes, her finger tapping rapidly picking up in pace. "You underestimate me. And I'm not trusting, I'm bored. I don't need to worry about myself if I get bored and entertain myself with the wrong kind of people, the kind who think they're a threat to me. I happen to have a gun, Mr. Boring, with enough bullets to do what I need to. When I shoot, I kill. I never miss." Well, there was a list of times she had missed, but that didn't need to be discussed. Really.

Her finger tapping ceased as she took to slowly walking about the man, looking him over. Sizing him up. She was silent as she did so, except for the occasional hmm or clucking of her tounge up against her teeth ( ... )

A very small twist of a smile turned up the cornre of Wesker's mouth as he arched a brow and studied the girl. He let her move in her circle around him, not bothering to track her progress. Arrogant, yes, but she could be useful ( ... )

"What in the fuck? Oh, you have got to be kidding me." Elle gave the man an annoyed glance, as she sucked in a breath of air, her cheeks denting in. Oh, he was an interesting one, wasn't he? "I'm not playing along with your pissing contest. Do you think it's my first day on the job or something? I'm not wasting my bullets. You're not a threat."

Although.

"One shot won't hurt, since you're being so cute." She drawled out, her free hand moving at a rapid speed to pull her gun out of its hiding place. She knew it took exactly two seconds for the gun to be pulled out, and another second and a half for her to get the gun held at ready. When your father made you spend countless hours each day doing gun drills at a Company sponsored shooting range, you got bored enough to keep track of how much time it did to things.

She was a tad bit worried about only having one hand she could actually use, but knew that she was resourceful enough to make it work. If she had to, she could learn to fire a gun with her feet. "Are we aiming to kill here, ( ... )

Behind the shield of his sunglasses, Wesker's eyes didn't blink. Some of the scientists around here had figured out that they had formed up the way they had for a reason. The human eye perceived sixty to a hundred frames per second, human sight as it was. Albert Wesker, given that he could move two to three times faster than the average person, had to be able to perceive fast motions or he would have ended up running into walls instead of going up them or cutting past them. Like a raptor, he saw with four times the resolving power of the human eye ( ... )

Even if Wekser's lesson got through to Elle, the actuality of her actually remembering it and taking it to heart at a later date were slim to none. She had settled nicely into her behavioral patterns, and had no plans to change. Not even as pain etched across her face at the grabbing of her wrist. Alright, maybe hitting the wall as hard as she had did hurt her a bit more than she thought. She refused to cry out, or make any sound, however ( ... )

Wesker drew in a sharp breath, making himself not bear down harder with his fingers. Hurting her was in no way what he wanted. Still, he was a man and that hurt. No male enjoyed having that done.

"That was not ladylike," he said quietly, holding onto her wrist a moment longer. "I can say with quite a bit of authority that you are the second person to manage to hurt me here in Purgatorium, and I think that may have been worse than the first."

It wasn't precisely true. Those threads had torn into his skin all over. His glasses slid down his nose, inhuman eyes watching her intently like a snake a sparrow. Yet this was no helpless bird.

"Be careful. Most around here like to take advantage of pretty girls with big attitudes."

Letting go, he didn't bother to step away. With luck, she wouldn't try to shoot him. It had never occured to him that a young girl like this, alone in Purgatorium, would give a damn what was going on with who. Wesker lived his life on information.

"Son of a bitch." Elle hissed the second he had let go of her wrist. Placing the gun back into place, she kept her arm in close to her chest. She now had two wounded arms, although she was hoping that the more recently damaged one would take to healing quickly. "Sorry to say, I'm not very ladylike ( ... )

"Not very popular, I take it." Elle snatched the paper out of his hands, sliding it into her pants pocket. She wasn't ever one to really say thank you, but she offered him a grateful smile that most likely ended up looking more sinister than it should have. "I can relate to that." Her smile quickly fell to a dissapointed pout. She had been counting on making some new friends. Oh well ( ... )

"You can always leave me a message on the network."

He started to walk away, stopping after a few steps to look back at her.

"There is a rather crude first aid kit as well in the closet, top shelf. It isn't much, but it might help."

Giving the girl a nod, he continued on his way towards the river. So much to do and so little time to do it all in.
