------
It was just another one of those days; he felt tired from wandering around and was going to make a stop at Sunde. Despite the fair clarity of his mind, he preferred to keep to himself for the time being and often walked into the city only in the shadows of night. However, it was this rare occasion when he found himself seeking shelter in Sunde during the day.
Even though Schuldig had said that he should talk to Zack and Angeal as soon as possible, Sephiroth still hadn't contacted them. Nor had he made any attempt to. It was always something that could be done 'in good time', whenever that was. Originally, he found it more urgent to do so, but as time passed, he had let the thought and deed slip for whatever unknown reason. Instead, he'd found himself wandering every inch of the lower level, studying and observing nearly every place and dedicating it to memory in the event of its usefulness.
Not having spoken to them, there was a quiet feeling lingering inside of him. Was that a form of guilt? Remorse perhaps? Obviously the god complex inside of him refused to believe he could experience such emotions--a god makes no mistakes and is perfect. His thoughts and feelings were still battling over little things, but fortunately he hadn't been through anything extreme enough to push him toward insanity and destruction.
Thinking back, it probably wasn't a good idea to seek out shelter in Sunde during the day since there was a higher likelihood that he'd be seen; as far as Schuldig was concerned, it wasn't wise for a good man like Sephiroth to be seen associating with the redhead. Considering this, perhaps it would be best for him to wander the city a little more and find a suitable place. Perhaps he could even settle for a permanent place to settle into and leave his few belongings in as he continued his travels.
So the silver-haired man decided to study the city for the first time in hopes of learning where each place was and where he might take residence.
