Summary:New moon, lack of demonic powers, you do the math. (I didn't have the time lastnight and I've missed this twice already.)
Nightfall, this however differential from any other night. The night when the cycle comes full circle, and a new moon is born. As a hanyou such times are for absolute secrecy, if not than there is only a moment, and in that moment nothing awaits a half-breed than death.
He's lived by that for aslong as he could remember, keeping his own plight unknown to any, and it stayed that way for a long while. That was until they had entered his life. Everything had chanaged then, he was able to trust them in that respect amongst others. Not only in battle but in his own well-being. Kagome, Miroku, Sango, Shippou and Kirara, they all were dependable fact was.. the only ones he knew he could count on when it came to these restless nights.
Sesshou-Maru had known or has some idea, he was sure of, but even he wouldn't be as low to attack him when he's in this state.
Others included that cub of a wolf and his motly pack of morons.
He knew Kagura had to be here, that subtle change in the wind on that day, a musked scent. He hadn't yet come face to face with the wind sorceress. In actuallity, the last time he saw her was just before she had been killed. Killed back in his own world, but now she was brought here - the gods playing their hand. It would be inevitable to run into her again, that was clear.
and even though she knows, I don't think I have anything to worry about.
Dark eyes broke way from the items in with him, having looked over them twice already, a shack with tools of some sort. Rusted and time eaten, better than nothing. Turning to lean in a way, onlooking outside into the darkness of trees or what was given due to breaks into the boarded structure,"Damn, even in this world I have to watch my back." With as many he had encountered more than what monsters he could sense when he was able, they wouldn't pass up a meal. and with other idiots wandering around this place, he would be damned to hell if they ever found out about it. No telling what they may try. So it was here he had made residence for the while, temp if any, until daybreak. Tetsusaiga held in his right hand's grip, scabbard held, thumb against the guards' surface. Himself safely shadowed and well hidden in the darkness of both shed and moonless night.
If he stayed here, there would be nothing to worry about.
Except the chilling draft which came in through broken wood, brushing through his hair... "...."
