When: This afternoon/evening after Schu's conversation with Medea, warning Cissnei, and talking to Shu.

Summary: There's a meeting going on at Sunde, and some people are listening in and hopefully staying quiet although who knows if that's going to be possible.

Schuldig blinked at Brad, having just walked in the front doors of Sunde after having talked to the goddess. He did like Medea as much as it could be said that he liked anyone, but in this he felt that he was honestly and firmly right. Besides, he couldn't back down once his position had been named much like he couldn't when it came to Shin-Ra. It wasn't his nature.
"What?" Schu asked, winding his way around the bar. Generally he avoided going behind it because Tifa seemed to sense a bottle moved, but he felt like some breakfast, namely some Jack Daniels.
"No, you are not having a drink, and no, you are not keeping that man's brat. You will be apologizing to Medea immediately and getting rid of it," Brad said calmly, looking through a small notebook he had gotten and had been filling up with notes.
The German paused, his fingers on the invitingly cool bottle of whiskey, getting ready to speak.
"Red hair is a recessive gene before you ask me," Brad cut in. "I said 'no', and I mean 'no'. Get a puppy instead."
A snort was his answer as Schuldig left the bottle and headed back around the bar. Taking a place on one of the stool, he swept the building for any hint of Shu's mind or Elena's. He wasn't obvious about it, just a quick scan. "So where is he? What's this meeting about, Brad?"
Crawford touched the top of the crude pencil to his lips thoughtfully, looking over what he had written before scratching something else onto the page and then flipping to the next blank one. "We are going to be offered a choice today, Schuldig. A great deal depends on which path we take."
"Which way are we going to go?"
"I don't know yet. We need to hear his offer first."
Schuldig nodded, staying silent for the time being. He hoped Cissnei was far away despite what she had said. He was surprised to find himself hoping that Shu and Elena had stayed away as well.
