Who: Kadaj, Lucrecia.
When: an hour or so after this; early evening.
Where: right outside her, Kadaj, Cloud, and Aerith's home.
Rating: PGish, probably. UNLESS KADAJ GOES ALL NUTS ON HER. But that is very doubtful.
Warnings: SAPPY BONDING? idk. It's Lu and Kadaj, together. Not too much to warn about that.
Summary: Lucrecia misses Kadaj a lot, so the two of them go off for a walk to the church all on their lonesomes~ ♥

It was chilly out, she noted. Chilly, and snowing a bit, too, with small flakes landing delicately on her shoulders, along the dark hair falling over a narrow back. But, ah, the cold didn't bother her all that much, and the jacket that was tugged lightly about her body kept her warm, snug, inside the soft material. Besides, she was well aware that Kadaj would be arriving relatively soon, and that was enough to keep her outside, to keep her glued to the steps that led up to their house. She figured she could have waited outside in the cold for hours, if she needed to. As long as it took him to reach her, and she was a patient woman. Sometimes, she was a bit too patient, but she never really thought too much about it.

Which is maybe why she had a bad habit of frustrating a lot of the people who were close to her.

But, still. Kadaj. She'd catch glimpses of him every now and then, inside the ShinRa building, and then at home, of course, but it was never longer than five or ten minutes, at best. And she had missed him, yes. Missed spending all the time with him that she used to, and sometimes, she supposed it got a little lonely. After being around so many people for so long, and then having them not be there, it was certainly something she needed to adjust to. And she was trying, definitely. Trying her best to get used to it, but it was difficult. Much more difficult than she had been anticipating.

He was coming now, though, and that's all that mattered, she thought. She could give him all the hugs she wanted when he arrived, and ah, maybe Kadaj never had been one for hugs, but had Lucrecia ever cared? Kadaj was hers, as far as she was concerned (Jenova be damned), and she was pretty sure - with how much she'd been missing him, as of late - she could hug the oxygen right out of his lungs. Kind of like what she did with Cloud nearly every day, until the blonde was muttering something about "not being able to breathe," and then she'd pull back with a "sorry, dear," before running back to the labs to delve back into her work.

She'd try not to suffocate him tonight, however. Though she would have been mildly impressed if she had been able to, considering what little upper body strength she tended to have. It'd certainly explain her inability to shove Hojo away when he was jabbing that stupid needle into her arm, which she was still - admittedly - a little sore about. He should have known better than to try and pull that sort of stuff with her, but. She supposed she shouldn't have been surprised. It was Hojo.

Besides, she didn't need to worry about that now. Pushing herself to a stand, delicate fingers wrapped about the railing to the steps as she peered down the darkened street, waiting for as long as she needed to.

As long as he needed her to wait.
