Since his arrival, he had never seen anything as magnificent and breathtaking as the tree that suddenly appeared by the river. Despite the extreme cold and icy winds, the cherry blossom tree stood in all its glory as if completely untouched by its surrounding environment ( ... )

"The snow is so clean out here," Setsuka started, as though continuing an ongoing conversation, "though the air is somewhat stale."

Taking a handful of snow, she let it melt into her palm before taking a sip of the water. And then she giggled--a soft, floating laugh--as though she were schoolgirl-aged. Without lifting her head, she tilted her eyes up to meet those of the man-behind-the-bars, her hand covering her mouth.

"Ahh,... how odd, indeed," she said, voice amused, gaze strangely suggestive.

This man had beautiful eyes. Odd, out of place, but beautiful eyes.

Usagi was out exploring. Hell sure was different from what she had imagined it to be! It snowed, and even held cages down here.

Wait. What?

The few days that Usagi had been in hell, she had yet to see a person having punishment by being locked up in a cage. That just cannot be right. Usagi approached the gilded bars, only to find that another person was standing before the cage.

She sidled up to the man's side, cocked her head and stared wonderingly at the beautiful young girl inside. "Why are you in there...?" She asked curiously.

Having sensed the girl's presence long before she came into Setsuka's view, she glanced at the girl, looking her over. Ah, this was a perfect picture of a purity and innocence! How marvelous!--and certainly, how rare.

"Inside 'here?' she glanced around her metal confinement and giggled yet again. "I've been kept here for so long, child, that I've forgotten the reason why~ ahaha~ The more troubling question is why I'm 'here,'--outside."

Here, she gazed out, meeting the girl's blue eyes with her own eyes, dark and--no matter how beautiful they were--somehow soulless.

"'Here,' instead of in my basement prison." And again, she laughed.

Usagi felt a chill run up her spine. No, not from the cold biting frost of the snow, but moreso from the mysterious girl in confinement. She brushed off the feeling, wondering instead how to help this somewhat sad lady.

Usagi walked foward, ignoring the tall silver-haired man for now. She placed a dainty finger against the cool metal bars of the cage. "Do you want to get out?" She asked quietly, a smile chancing her lips.

Setsuka answered with another laugh--full and amused.

"Why, I would love it, child! It would be nice to stand on my own feet again and walk out onto the snow," she replied.

"Eek!" Usagi squeaked out from surprise more than fear. Or maybe it was a combination of both. The big silver-haired man sure was intimidating. And the sounds that the sword made sure was loud!

Usagi then proceeded to stare in awe at the elegant very young lady as she practically floated out of her prison. She barely registered what the lady had to say and responded with, "U-usagi Tsukino." She looked ever more elegant than Usagi could ever be as princess or queen.

Setsuka extended her hand to the sweet young girl and stroked her cheek gently, smiling how a mother would.

"That's a very cute name--Usagi-chan," she chuckled softly, a sudden gust of wind causing a storm of petals to swirl around them--it was a scene out of a movie.

--a yuri movie!?

[ooc: err... strikes not there. xDDD]

He gave the blonde a look as if to apologize without actually doing so. Then he turned to the other woman. The way she moved reminded him of the Pollensalta in the Northern Crater; they were ghostly temptresses waiting to take their victims down before taking them out. With this thought in mind, he was very guarded. The hero that he was -or wanted to try to be- compelled him to stay and watch over the blonde and protect her if necessary.

"My name is Sephiroth."
