Summary: A chance meeting between two pre-teens: one fiery little girl and a fairly apathetic boy.
Anita sat on a piece jagged slope of rocks, letting her legs dangle just slightly about the cracked ground. She was pretty sick of how often it rained in this place--she hated it, but at least she always managed to find shelter. Looking up at the sky, it seemed like it'd rain again at any moment, and she sighed.
She really didn't want it to rain again. But whatever--she'd just have to find another empty building to wait it out in. Hopefully she'd find one with a more intact roof this time though.
She was starting to really miss them: her sisters, Nene-nee, and Hisa-chan. The world was made such that you always got to meet the people you wanted to see the most, but... still...
Anita angrily threw a rock at a nearby pile of rubble. It didn't do much; the rock bounced off, rolled about on the ground for a few short moments before finally resting, motionless. She threw her head back to look up at the ominous sky and muttered, "I don't want it to rain again."
