Summary: Zack and Misa are bored, so they decide to go visit Genesis. First, though, they must pick up food!
Truth be told, Zack had been rather bored lately. But what else could be expected when there was really only one major event going on and he wasn't allowed anywhere near it? What seemed to be taking up everyone's time and focus lately was Jenova and everything surrounding her, but, of course-Zack was still forbidden from getting near her or hers. Every time he even thought about it, it seemed that Namine (or Mille, Kadaj, or Cloud, or Angeal, or any other number of people) was right there to tell him no and pull him away.
At least he wasn't the only one with that problem, though. Not being forbidden from Jenova, but the whole boredom thing. Misa, who had vanished for a while and whom Zack had been worried about, had posted earlier that day and had said that she, too, was without anything of interest to do. Whilst Zack wouldn't wish boredom on anyone, this was good for one reason: between the two of them, they'd undoubtedly come up with something awesome to do.
And they had, in fact, done just that. Misa had made the initial suggestion to see Genesis and it had went from there. Zack knew, after all, very well where the redhead lived, so it was very easy for them to go over and visit him. In fact, they could pick up some food beforehand and make an entire evening of it, and wouldn't that just be fun? No sarcasm, either, because Zack was still quite determined to be friends with his once enemy. One who seemed to be doing much better, ever since he'd gotten that gift from Angeal and Medea that cleared his mind of the things that had troubled him before.
So, having come up with what Zack felt was a brilliant plan, he didn't hesitate to skip out on work for the rest of the day (he hadn't really done it much lately, so it was okay~). Once he did that, it was as simple as heading over to Misa's place so that they could begin their plans for a great evening.
“Hey, Misa~!” When he reached Misa's house on the upper level, he made his way up to the door and knocked upon it, calling out happily for her. “Zack's here to begin Operation: Bother Genesis~!”
