Rast didn't honestly make it a habit to go out walking where anyone was around. Really, since his arrival in Purgatorium some several months ago, he'd kept to himself, to the shadows, and in his animal form that seemed better suited when dealing with monsters and moving through the streets quickly and silently.

But, well, every so often he had a want to stay human and walk around on two legs for a change. Nobody paid him any attention, regardless; he was just another face, another sinner, and nobody knew him here.

That suited him just fine.

It'd been weeks since he'd even spoken to anyone aloud, and the sound of his own voice somewhat startled him, upon rounding a corner and finding a little blonde female running right into him. "Woah - watch it," he blinked down at her (perhaps surprised by her appearance; she... didn't look like she belonged there at all), and after a moment, his mouth tugged up into a grin.

Blinking, Flonne peered up at him with wide eyes. "You're taller than me. You should watch more closely!" She informed him as politely as possible, with a little giggle.

She took advantage of someone actually noticing and speaking to her, however, and grinned up at him. Hands clasped behind her back, she rocked back and forth. "Since you're here, though... do you know where the Gods are? I need to talk to them, to tell them I'm not supposed to be here." She knew one thing from Seraph Lamington's teachings, that usually adults had a soft spot for sweet little, lost children.

One thin brow raised, and the hell-cat tilted his head to one side. What an... odd little girl. Woman. Thing. ... Whatever. He lifted a hand to scratch at his jaw idly, pretending to look thoughtful although, really, he had no intention of calling the Gods out right there where he'd have to face them. Instead, he gestured absently with his other hand, smile still in place.

"So sorry, kitten. But if you're here, then you definitely deserve to be. The Gods don't make no mistakes like that."

"Kitten? No, no. My name is Flonne." The girl perked an eyebrow and took a step away from him, a bit offended by the fact that he assumed she deserved to be in purgatory. Normally, she'd shout at anyone who dared to say such a thing, but since she was meeting him for the first time...

"Well. They made a mistake this time. I'm sure of it. I've only done one bad thing, and that was a long time ago, when I was under 1,000 years old." Frowning, Flonne crossed her arms over her chest and gave out a slight huff.

"What are you here for, anyways? Hopefully it wasn't that bad." It was at this point she realized that she probably should have found out his sin before starting a conversation.
