Who: Spike, Illyria
When: Um. Now-ish?
Where: By a river on the outskirts of town.
Rating: Well, it -is- 'Ria and Spike. So probably R for violence.
Warnings: Lots of hitting of the Spike, I'm sure.
Summary: Spike meets Illyria.
Illyria made her way towards the outskirts of time, thinking to herself as she walked. The Spike she had talked to didn't remember her, and she found that disconcerting. That means that either he had gotten hurt since they were seperated, or this was not the Spike she knew. Of course, she knew that there were probably other Spikes in other dimensions, but being stuck in an unfamiliar place with a Spike that may or may not be friendly to her was not what Illyria would have chosen. It was not that she couldn't protect herself. It was that she found the idea of having to destroy a Spike, any Spike, rather disconcerting. And if it was the Spike she knew, and he had lost his memory. It would be very annoying having to remind him of everything they had shared.
She found herself at the river, and tilted her head. She didn't see Spike around anywhere, and she pondered looking up or down the river for him. But she figured it would be best to stay where she was and wait for Spike to find her. Otherwise, they could spend the whole night looking for each other. She found a sturdy rock at the edge of the river, and sat on it, dipping her feet in the water as she waited. The water was bitterly cold, but she didn't mind that. It was something to do while she waited.
